FAQs
How do we pay when we first start?
We ask you to pay for 3 trial classes, in advance, to secure your child’s/your place in the class/classes. 3 classes will give your child/you a chance to sample what our dedicated and inspiring teachers can do to help your child/you achieve with confidence.
Can I stay with my child in their first class?
I arrange to meet you and your child before they start the first class to discuss everything you need to know along with a tour of the studios . When the children arrive for their first class the teacher will meet you and your child and I will give you feedback over the first few weeks as to how they are settling in.
What do they wear for their first class?
We do not expect anyone to be wearing our uniform until they have had their trial lessons, so we always suggest something suitable to wear for the first 3 lessons. They will need some dance shoes, if you do not have shoes then you will be able to order these from our shop.
Do all classes do exams?
Ballet, tap and modern classes work towards examinations from age 5 years. We have regular exam sessions every term. All our other classes are performance classes that progress their technique under the guidance of our trained and experienced teachers.
Do you do shows?
Yes, we have large scale shows at the Brindley Theatre, every year, for all our performers from age 4 upwards. We also do community performances and encourage our children to audition for professional productions both locally and nationwide.
