“Another outstanding production put together by ATDance. I enjoyed every minute. The choreography was outstanding and all dancers performed brilliantly. Proud that my daughter is part of such a nurturing and inspiring dance school. Well done to all involved ‘

Primary Dance

  • Friday tea-time; Saturdays-late morning.

BALLET

The Cecchetti (ISTD)  syllabus is a wonderful ballet programme where the young dancers now learn to stand at the barre and start to learn French ballet terms.

Acro (Acrobatic Arts)

for age 5-10 years

This programme uses strength and flexibility to perform gymnastic-based tricks and is a perfect companion to ballet, modern and contemporary.

  • The classes teach flexibility, balance, strength and coordination. Acrobatic dance is an art, whereas gymnastics is a sport.

  • Tuesday - two classes. We will advise on which class is the most suitable during their first lesson.

Street Dance

for

age 6-10 years

This energetic dance style is very popular and accessible for this age group.

  • The dancers participate in a warm-up session followed by a routine set to hits from current artists.

  • A relaxed class where the children can meet new friends.

  • Thursdays - we have 3 class times to choose from, which allows dancers to join one of the Stage school classes, too.

Contemporary

for age 6-10 years

This expressive and creative style of dance combines elements of other dance styles including modern, lyrical and ballet.

  • This is also an easily ‘accessible’ style of dance for anyone who has not had any dance training.

  • This class complements ballet, modern and acro training.

  • Fridays - we have two classes - one for ages 6-9 and one for ages 10-12.

Open Jazz

age 7+ years

Our open (non-syllabus) jazz classes are very popular.
